In a story that is just beginning, the ending may be re-written an infinite amount of times. In a story that has already finished, there is nothing more you can do... Do you remember the moment it was all over? How you felt? How long it took you to get over it? Did you really get over it?
This is the story of "Life looks better in Spring". A simple ballad, telling the emotions we have all at some point in our lives experienced - the rejection, the betrayal, the loneliness, the end. And the hope for a new beginning that eventually follows...
"Life looks better in Spring" was the outright winner of this year's Cyprus National Final for the Eurovision Song Contest, receiving full marks from both the jury and the televoters.
Performing the song is the very charismatic and vocally gifted 22 year old Jon Lilygreen, who trully lifts this song. In our humble opinion, this is

one of the best voices we have ever heard at a Cyprus Final. For more information on Jon, please click here.
Over the past few months we worked very hard in order to be able to present you with a quality song. We have very carefully approached every word in the lyrics, every note in the music, each expression in the interpretation of this song, hoping for the best possible result in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.
Thank you for your interest in our participation. Hopefully, you will like the song!

[ Jon Lilygreen | Åñìçíåßá ]
Jon is an exceptional natural talent and excels as both a singer and guitarist. He lives for music and is in his element on stage - moving audiences with his amazing voice and gifted musicianship.
"It would be an honor to represent Cyprus this year - Nasos and Melis have written a fantastic track that really could win Eurovision - The guys helped make my dreams come true when they invited me to perform 'Life looks better in spring' - I won't let them down - and I'll be singing for Cyprus with all my heart!"
One of Jon's main Influences is his Father - "he would play in the front room when I was a boy and I just loved that simple raw connection with the music".

|
This raw connection with the music, combined with unparalleled skill is what makes Jon's performances so enticing for an audience.
"I also recognize that I need to win the respect and admiration of the Cypriot audience, and I want to say that it's a huge privilege for me to get that opportunity."
"My band («The Islanders») is made up of musicians from Cyprus, Wales, Norway and Scotland. As well as being exceptional performers, we all originate from Islands."
We're a truly European group in the true spirit of the competition and we're already attracting a lot of interest throughout Europe especially in Norway this year's host nation.
"Come on Cyprus!"
